DO-ALL #18 has been created as a result of years of research and testing of many alternative formulations for dealing with hydrocarbon based problems, as it relates to us solving hydrocarbon hazards, in a unique and natural way.
The high degree of effectiveness of DO-ALL #18 lies in the unique water-based, biodegradable formulation, which is specifically engineered as clean-up/mitigation agents for a wide range of petroleum and hydrocarbon products. DO-ALL #18 emulsifies and encapsulates petroleum based products, so that they become nonflammable and biodegrade extremely rapidly in nature. Our process drastically accelerates nature's approach to solving the problems associated with hydrocarbon spills.
The DO-ALL #18 method for coping with hydrocarbon based spills is two-fold. Petroleum based spills or discharges, as well as fuel sources for fires, contain millions of hydrocarbon molecules. First, DO-ALL #18 rapidly emulsifies long-chain hydrocarbon molecules, breaking the fuel source into a water soluble matrix composed of microscopic particles of neutralized fuel which are incapable of ignition. These particles are simultaneously encapsulated by the process, further safeguarding against the possibility of ignition, re-ignition and preventing the recombination on the fuel particles. These particles then subjected to greatly accelerated natural bacteriological degradation by the bacteria already present in the environment. DO-ALL #18 does not contain bacteria of any type, but rather allows nature's air, water and soil-borne bacteria to deal with the problem of disposal of a hydrocarbon spill, regardless of whether the spill has been ignited or not.
In the case of a burning fuel spill, the rapid emulsification and encapsulation caused by DO-ALL #18, starve the fire of its fuel source almost instantly, by changing in into a non-flammable water soluble matrix, because DO-ALL #18 encapsulate hydrocarbons rather than just dispersing them, they are extremely effective. Should there be a fire in or near the spilled oil, there is no risk of re-ignition, once agitation and DO-ALL #18 start working.
During the biodegradation process, the hydrocarbons will be consumed as a food source for the pre-existing bacteria. Since the bacteria are living organisms, they require oxygen, nutrients and moisture, in order to survive, thrive and function. DO-ALL #18 creates the perfect environment for the bacteria, allowing ~ the biodegradation of the hydrocarbons to take place at a highly accelerated pace.
